The grove with the existing Indian bean trees has the feel of a small park as one arrives at the School Centre Mühleholz. On the square in front of the main entrance to the High School a water fountain is the focal point of the open space. The lawn acts as a link and a skillful mediator connecting the two buildings in this architectural landscape. The double tree line on the side provides shade on hot summer days for anyone sitting on the stand.
The exterior area focusses on a high-quality square and court design creating a lot of space for physical activity, games, rest and recreation as well as outdoor classrooms. Unsealed surfaces allowing for seepage reduce the heat on the premises and create space for retention areas and rain water seepage. The School Centre Mühleholz thus gains various attractive spaces and leisure areas conducive to physical activity and exploration.
