Three modern courtyards were designed with meticulous attention to detail for the Vaduz municipal building authority and the Liechtenstein Red Cross. This type of spatial design was already used in ancient Rome, and courtyards continue to serve as social hubs and places of retreat. These urban oases in Vaduz offer seating amidst greenery and provide a welcome break in the fresh air.

The fountain is the central element of the entire new building. The heavily moss-covered oak trunk delights with the gentle sound of the water. A connection to the directly adjacent Rhine is established.

Elevated, meandering planting beds blend seamlessly into the rectangular outdoor space, while peripheral climbing plants complete the spatial design. The paving also features distinctive characteristics. Fine natural stone strips with planted joints create a sense of spaciousness. Differently textured surfaces lend the overall effect a pleasing dynamism. Central areas appear lighter, while peripheral areas are darker.

The new building of the Liechtenstein Red Cross and the Vaduz municipal building administration offers green retreats in the fresh air for its employees and is a real eye-catcher for visitors.
